gotta love those time consuming projects. sometimes i don’t. lol. i decided to use the tie knot method. 1) because i didn’t want to sit at my machine for hours anymore, and 2) i wanted a more handmade look to it. i don’t get much time to work on this so it seems to be taking even longer. but that’s okay. it’ll be worth it. maybe it’ll be one of those things that i can give to penelope’s daughter. eeep. i just imaged her a mama. oh my. okay, slow down. :) going to work on the quilt a little more and then calling it a night!

so penny pants had her first zoo experience! we went to the dallas zoo with my parents and niece and nephew. (missed the other half of the fam!) it was perfect weather and all the babies did great and had so much fun….or at least it looked like they did. :) so here’s tons of pictures.
