two babes under two years. i won’t be able to say that for too much longer…as in 3 more days! sweet penelope turns two on saturday!! life with 2 under 2 has been a little crazy and a lot amazing. i am so excited to watch these girls grow up so close together. i knew before i got married that i wanted to have my kids close in age. i pretty much grew up as an only child for awhile there (my brother and sister are 8 and 9 years older than me), so i don’t know what it’s like to have a sibling so close in age. i’m sure there are going to be tough times when they dislike one another and don’t want to have anything to do with each other, but i also see them being life long best friends. sisters are pretty amazing. (brothers are too!) but there’s something special that sisters have…that sisterly bond. i already see penelope bonding more and more each day with ruby. (there’s only been a few pushes and thrown toys. better than i expected. haha). i think that ruby will be an exact opposite of penelope. penelope is the wild, full of energy, strong willed, stubborn, out going, funny girl. and i can see ruby being the laid back, quiet, calm, follow all the rules, sweet girl. but who knows….i could be way off. ;) these girls are my world. my two under two world. the only thing i would change is the double diaper duty. that’s a lot of diapers. now that  penelope is about to turn two i might think about potty training. eeek. that’ll be interesting. :)

well i’m off to enjoy my two under two babies. i CANNOT believe i will have a two year old in a few days. i have been preparing for her party this weekend. i’m excited. maybe more than her. yay for parties!
