my new NEPHEW decided to come 2 weeks early this morning! heard the news around 5:45am this morning and couldn’t go back to sleep!!

baby josh!! you made your mama happy by coming early and coming very fast. i’m talking a fast delivery! i know mine won’t be like that being a first timer, but still if i get anything like she did i will be one happy mama!

happy birthday josh!!! can’t wait to see you and the rest of the fam this weekend! tiny toes and fingers! :)

i have a long list of super cute things i have been wanting to make for baby girl…AND i finally got around to doing one! since we got our crib in i have been wanting to make some sheets. no offense to all those lovely designs and bedding at baby stores but just not what i was wanting. so clearly have to make them.

this is one of the Amy Butler Designs fabric that i got. LOVE it. went on over to MADE and followed Dana’s super easy crib sheet tutorial! i just went for it. i didn’t even measure the mattress. i just assumed (and hoped) that all mattresses were standard size and she was using those measurements. the closer i got the more nervous i got…BUT


it is perfect! eeeeek. so excited

made some homemade fresh salsa afterward to celebrate. lol….pretty sure i had onion breath the rest of the day.
i have two other patterns from amy that i need to make. also got our dresser/changing table in from the in-laws! now husband gets to tackle it. apparently it’s a little hard to put together. ha. should be fun. i’ll post a pic later. one step closer to getting this baby room ready! (i’m doing your thing mama fee, made a check list and getting things done!) :)

also went out for my bday dinner with some great friends last night! hula hut and bubble tea. loves. i’ll post pics later. have a great saturday!! going bowling with the youth tonight too!

happy today is my friday! i have work with the girls then straight to baby class! going to be a long, but eventful day. i’m loving the baby classes. learning lots. husband secretly loves them too.

we finally found a stroller that we both love…and is reasonable! i really LOVE the pram style, but just can’t dish out 700 bucks for the trendy ones. but i’m excited about this one. it does the whole two face direction twist thing and angles for the older ones. :) AND husband said he was secretly excited too. hahah. cracked me up when he told me that. love him.

i have my dallas shower next weekend!! so happy to go home and visit friends and family. PLUS my sister is already 1 cm dilated! she’s due on the 22nd…if not sooner! so excited. lots to be excited about. it has been so fun being pregnant with her at the same time. i’m assuming she doesn’t mind all my questions. :) and i have been craving snuffers, my fav restaurant, for a long time now! they don’t have any in austin….we are missing out. so hopefully we can go there…cheese fries. yum.

**so apparently my blog doesn’t fully show on all browsers. :( so my goal is to work on that and maybe give my blog some love this weekend. AND i need to post my next two belly series i have done. yay. getting bigger! i have my next appt on friday. i get to do the fun glucose test (it actually is fun, i get to eat a big breakfast!) and get my super fun Rh shot. blah. i don’t like shots.
