date night with husband. went to maudie’s and stuffed our faces with amazing fajitas and chips and queso.



had some fun with hipsta. :) pretty views from our table.


then we had a little too much fun at lowe’s picking out paint colors for the house. i’m holding our color inspiration. :) we are not 100% yet, need to make another trip to get another set of colors.

-then had a girls morning with a good friend of mine. went on a hike, had some torchy’s tacos (YUM), and then pedicures! i haven’t had one in years…..it was nice.

so we live in a kind of spread out neighborhood, and honestly wasn’t expecting too many kiddos. BUT when they come around in huge drivable boats like this?! there were tons!!! it was awesome. kids in boats, kids in trailers, these parents are smart. we’re teaming up with the boat crew when our girl is old enough! it was our first time ever to pass our candy and we were rookies. ran out of candy kinda early. even gave a few kids some cheese and crackers and some almonds snack packs. haha (they didn’t notice) ;)

all in all it was a great weekend. much needed. here’s to a great week! (my birthday is even coming up….eeek!)
