so it’s a new year…and a new job!! i am happy to say that i get to take care of/play/teach 3 of my wonderful nieces all day. they are a handful but i absolutely love it and them. so this week i have been working on my new routine and getting everything settled back in from the holidays. now i can get back in the groove of my classes and crafts! i’m excited…so in the mean time, here are a few loves that i have…

i like how most of these loves are about food…hahaha. what can i say? i like food. more fun pictures to come!!! oooh AND i am getting extra excited for STYLE SCHOOL to start next week. going to be busy! have a great thursday!!! and of course….HOOK EM!!! championship game tonight!!

so it’s 2010. this calls for a 2009 recap. plus i’ve seen others do it, and i thought it was a great idea. so here goes…ps. sorry if it is a bit long. couldn’t help it. i even took a lot out. :)

january
celebrated new years with the youth group. started teaching my first bootcamp courses at the YMCA (5:45am…way.too.early.) had an amazing IGNITE experience.

february
had our first attempt at making sushi :), youth group made care packages and gave them out downtown, threw in some worship songs in a downtown park, had my first girls night with the youth (tons of girlie things=amazing) had my first bridal shower!

trav’s turn at speaking at IGNITE (very inspirational), bridal pics!!!, engagement pics!!!, bestie’s birthday bash.

april
big day…got MARRIED!, honey moon in costa rica, moved into hubby’s apt and gave it some love :) ran at relay for life

trav’s surprise birthday, baby michelle was born!, emery got baptized

june
started up painting again, bestie and i tie dyed our first shirts! sisters came into town and had a big girl’s night with all the besties

july
celebrated the 4th with the youth with the river and volleyball, actually got to go to the DREAM BIG youth camp :)

august
english friends came to visit!, went and saw wicked!!!, started teaching kid’s church at my church, hometown girlfriends came to visit and floated the river, started up Mocha Monday! bought our first new car!! back to school camping trip 

september
sister and niece came to visit!, travie’s 3rd birthday with the fam, ellen stayed with us and made a million cake balls, got rockband (good purchase), baby violet was born!

october
glide launched new website!, learned how to make pumpkin spice lattes, hubby and i did a lil fashion show, GO youth halloween bash, started peace, love, and crafts blog :), hubby let me take over half of our bedroom for my crafts.

november
turned the big 25, converted over to a brunette, emie turned 1!, duct tape fest with the youth (left over with tons of duct tape if anyone needs any), autumn found out she’s preggers! packed up our lil church, got blessed with a building we can now call our home church, thanksgiving potluck lunch with the church, then more eating and fellowship with both sides of the family!

december
my first attempt at making some of the Christmas presents=success, first snow (and only snow, if you can call is snow) of the year, finished up at the current job to become a nanny for 3 of my nieces start in january!!, trees turned amazing colors, spent lots of time with family and loved every second of it, first Christmas as a married couple!

man that was a lot. good year. even better year to come!
